Today it's the 11th of February. It sounds like it is winter but it feels like an beautiful day in Spring. The reason why it feels so warm and nice is that Limone is on the West coast of Lake Garda. The sun heats up the rocks and mountain and this keeps the warmth. This is also the reason that they used to grown lemons for production in Limone sul Garda. Now a days there are still some lemon tree gardens but the production is small and only locally used.
Today standing on the balcony of Hotel Villa Romantica it was so nice to feel the warmth. 17 degrees! Unfortunately I had no time to stay chilling on the balcony. I was there on business, to Meet with Paolo the owner of the hotel.
We discussed how to improve the kitesurf area. And I am proud to announce that there will be private lockers for quests who come with there own equipment! We made a offer for April ( 30 euro pppn) and we spoke about the organisation of a kitesurf instructor course. Which will probably happen in June or October. (more news to posted soon, or if you are interested in joining please send me an email).
On days like this I feel super lucky that for a business meetings I get on my bycicle and bike along lake Garda to the meetings place and discuss business with the most stunning view.
And the best: I went home with two fresh lemons :) nothing smells better then hand picked lemons from Limone!
